Business Insurance Pack

A Business Insurance pack is a type of packaged insurance policy that may protect your business and its assets against liability and particular unexpected events. For example, if a fire damaged your office and you were no longer able to host clients on the premises, it can include cover for the cost to repair the damage. It also includes the option to include Public Liability cover, and coverage for financial loss you incur from not being able to operate due to an insured event.

As specialist brokers, Aon can arrange insurance options for multiple risks commonly faced by small businesses, helping you to decide the right cover for your business at a competitive price.

What does Business Insurance typically cover?

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do Business Insurance packs cost?

The cost of a Business Insurance pack varies by the types and levels of cover you select, and the profession you're in. That's why the best way to get understand the pricing of Business Insurance packs is to go through the quote process online.

I’ve already taken out Professional Indemnity Insurance – do I need a Business Insurance pack as well?

Whilst Professional Indemnity Insurance helps cover claims made against your business by customers alleging they suffered financial loss due to your services or advice, this doesn’t cover your physical premises or contents if they’re damaged by an insured event. It also may not include cover for your legal liability in the event of personal injury or property damage to a third party caused by your business operations.

Can I pay for my policy monthly?

Yes, you can. Monthly payments can be arranged through a premium funding agreement with Hunter Premium Funding2 to help you spread the costs of your insurance across the year. Please note that the total overall cost is higher if you pay monthly. Contact us on 02 6190 0958 or by email on [email protected]

How do I make a claim?

You will find details of how to make a claim in the policy wording you receive from us. However, we also appreciate that having to make a claim can be a stressful time which is why, as your advocate, we are always on hand to help with any questions. Please do not hesitate to call us on 02 6190 0958 during business hours.

But I am a professional consultant - I don’t have stock for sale, why might I need a Business Insurance pack?

Even if you don't have any stock for sale on your premises, if an insured event damaged your office and you could no longer access your computer/network drive, this would affect your ability to service clients. Depending on the cover you select, a Business Insurance pack can help to cover the cost to restore access to your data and devices, as well as the lost income you incur during this period.

Additionally, Business Insurance packs can help cover your liability for third party personal injury or property damage.
